Dedicated cloud VMs

Your own Linux or Windows server, fully managed.

When a shared plan is no longer the right shape — a database-heavy application, software that needs Windows, or a compliance requirement for isolation — you get a dedicated VM on Google Cloud with our team still running the operating system.

When a VM is the right answer

Dedicated resources, without becoming your own sysadmin.

An unmanaged VPS hands you a blank server and a root password. A managed VM from CCMS arrives patched, hardened, monitored, and backed up, with the control panel already configured — and we keep it that way.

You still get root or Administrator access when you want it. The difference is that kernel patches, firewall rules, TLS renewals, and backup verification are our responsibility, not a recurring item on your calendar.

Linux, your distribution

AlmaLinux, Rocky, Ubuntu LTS, or Debian, with Plesk or a bare stack. Full root access, NGINX and PHP-FPM tuned for your application, and Redis or a dedicated MariaDB instance on request.

Windows Server

Windows Server with IIS, ASP.NET, or MSSQL, licensed through Google Cloud so there is no separate license to buy. RDP access, Active Directory integration available, and the same managed patching.

Resize without rebuilding

vCPU, memory, and disk scale in a scheduled maintenance window. You are not locked into the size you started with, and you do not migrate to grow.

Isolation you can document

No shared tenancy, no neighbors competing for I/O, and a dedicated IP. When a client or auditor asks where the data lives and who else is on the machine, there is a straight answer.

VM sizes & pricing

Managed VMs on Google Cloud.

Prices include the operating system, management, monitoring, patching, and nightly off-site backups. Windows pricing includes Microsoft licensing.

Need more than 8 vCPU, a GPU, a private network between VMs, or a specific compliance posture? Tell us the workload and we will size it and quote it.

What “managed” covers

The work that stays ours.

Plenty of providers call a VM “managed” and mean they will reboot it for you. Here is the actual division of labor.

Patching & hardening

OS and package updates on a maintenance schedule, firewall rules, SSH or RDP hardening, and fail2ban or equivalent.

Monitoring & alerting

Uptime, CPU, memory, disk, and service checks, with alerts routed to our team first — not to you at 3 a.m.

Database administration

MariaDB or MSSQL install, tuning, and backup verification. Redis available on request at no extra cost on VMs.

Backups & recovery

Nightly off-site backups with 30-day retention by default, tested restores, and a documented recovery process.

TLS & DNS

Certificate issuance and renewal, DNS records, and mail authentication alignment if the VM sends email.

Escalation path

A named technical contact, business-hours phone support, and out-of-hours escalation for anything customer-facing.

Questions

Cloud VM questions

A hosting plan shares a tuned, capped server with other customers and is the right answer for most sites. A VM is a dedicated machine that is yours alone — the whole CPU, memory, and disk — which matters for database-heavy applications, software that needs Windows Server, or a compliance requirement for isolation. If a plan fits, we will tell you, because it is usually the cheaper option.

Yes. On Linux you get full root; on Windows Server you get Administrator over RDP. The difference from an unmanaged VPS is that we still handle patching, hardening, monitoring, and backups — you have full control when you want it, without owning the maintenance.

Yes. Windows pricing is licensed through Google Cloud, so there is no separate Microsoft license to buy or track — the monthly price you see is all-in. The Windows premium is why the Windows and Linux prices differ at each size.

Yes. vCPU, memory, and disk scale up or down in a scheduled maintenance window. You are not locked into the size you start with, and you do not migrate to a new server to grow — the same machine is resized in place.

OS and package patching, firewall and SSH or RDP hardening, uptime and resource monitoring with alerts routed to us first, database administration, nightly off-site backups with tested restores, and TLS and DNS. You get a named technical contact and business-hours phone support.

Tell us the workload. We size and quote larger machines, GPU instances, private networking between VMs, and specific compliance postures individually — the three sizes here are the common starting points, not the ceiling.

Not sure whether you need a plan or a VM?

Send us the application and its traffic. We will tell you which one fits, even when it is the cheaper one.
